Recognition for SingersMarin
The Marin Charitable Association has awarded SingersMarin a grant in support of our community outreach and scholarship programs. We are delighted to receive this recognition from one of Marin's oldest community organizations. As of January, 2006, Marin Charitable Association has granted over $2,000,000 to organizations that support the youth of Marin County.
SingersMarin is proud to be the recipient of a grant from the California Arts Council's Youth Education in the Arts! program. The California Arts Council recently awarded 202 California nonprofit arts organizations and local arts agencies with funding from the Youth Education in the Arts! (YEA!) Program. $727,980 in grants was awarded to organizations demonstrating ongoing, interactive work with children and adolescents (K-12) in the disciplines of theater, dance, music, literature, traditional folk arts, visual arts, and electronic media.
