Spring Concerts Celebrate 20 Years of Song and More

It’s that time of year again. Spring has sprung and that means spring cleaning, Easter baskets, and, of course, SPRING CONCERTS! The SingersMarin 2006-2007 concert season “Spirits Soaring” is coming to a close with more than usual to celebrate! This season marks the 20 th Anniversary of our adult women’s chorus, Wings of Song, which has been actively uplifting the spirit of the community since its inception. Their beautiful spring concert will be featuring repertoire from the history of the group, as well as a few gorgeous new pieces. This concert will be held on Sunday, May 20 th at 7:30pm at Saint Hilary Church in Tiburon as part of the Saint Hilary Concert Series. Tickets are $20.00 for adults, $15.00 for seniors, and $10.00 for students with a valid student ID. Continue the celebration with singers, family, and friends at a free reception immediately following the concert!

There is also reason to celebrate at the Spring Youth Concert, for the first time being held at the brand new Marin Youth Center (The MYC) in San Rafael! This amazing venue is perfect for this concert, as it celebrates youth and helps them grow through innovative and engaging programming (including the Solo Voice Class offered by SingersMarin that starts in April!). This spring we will not only be celebrating the work by all of our youth singers, but also the hard work and dedication of our fabulous les étoiles senior, Kara Erickson, who will be performing in her final Spring Concert. The concert will be held on Saturday, May 19 th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students. You may also take advantage of our family rate: $35.00 for two adults and all SingersMarin siblings!
