As Shaw aptly states, there is more to the art form of choral singing than just singing for singing's sake or providing entertainment. It is all of us, expressing through the glorious sounds of the music the depths of our souls.

Choral Singers of Marin is an association of choruses that offers opportunities for all segments of the population to experience singing. These opportunities begin for elementary school age children, to community choruses that encourage family participation, to concerts and sing-alongs for the elderly and quality professional performances for the public.

As part of our desire to fill the artistic needs of our entire community, we bring our music to those that cannot attend our concerts. We provide families an activity to participate in together. We support music education by offering sight singing, ear training, and vocal instruction.

Many worthy efforts and causes deserve our attention today. It is important to remember that the physical, intellectual and emotional health of a society rests in the well being of each individual. We offer balance to every day life throught the coral art. Offsetting daily challenges, the joy of singing permeates the emotions and uplifts the spirit. Choral Singers of Marin delights in our mission to "nurture people of all ages" by helping to create happy, healthy people.
